{bb} Windows External Scripts and UNC path

Greetings,

Windows Client 1.08d:

Does the Windows BB client allow the
use of UNC paths for external 
scripts? 

I am having problems running a bat
file from a Samba server using 
the UNC path to the bat file.

The bat file runs successfully when
copied to the BB client and run 
from a local directory.

The bat file will run successfully
from a command prompt on the BB 
client system using the UNC path.

I created a local bat file on the Windows
BB client system. The local 
bat file executes the bat file located
on the Samba server using the 
UNC path. This also works. 

When I use the UNC path to the bat
file in the externals list in the 
Big Brother Client 1.08d Configuration
Editor, the bat file does not 
appear to work or send the data to
the BB server.

Any ideas?
