I thought about suggesting that, too. I've done similar things myself.

Alternatively, you could report those processes under a different
test name. That would then allow alerts to be suppressed, or the
test to be switched "offline", during a back-up period. This
could be achieved with an custom script or by modifying the
standard "bb-procs.sh" script.
