{bb} Re: Testing rules for a specific host

I'm thinking a little more info is required ..

================

*;;SERVICE;*;*;*;0000-2359;*

*;;msgs;;1-5;1800-2359 0000-0800;me@here.co.uk
*;;msgs;;6 0;*;me@here.co.uk

*;;*;LISTOFSERVICES;1-5;0830-1759;ext-sendpage-pager:~15

*;EXHOSTS;*;EXSERVICES;*;1800-2359 0000-0829;ext-sendpage-pager:~15
*;EXHOSTS;*;EXSERVICES;6 0;0830-1759;ext-sendpage-pager:~15

=================

This is basically my bbwarnrules.cfg. Each VARIABLE expands to a space
seperated list of services/hosts as applicable. We are getting pages
for some things but not others, especially conn tests. I tried adding
a wildcard rule .. :

hg-TEST;;*;;*;*;me@here.co.uk

.. with the host group containing the list of required hosts. I get
no emails at all.

I've just changed pagelevelsmail to red yellow and purple to see if I
get  anything through.

Any ideas brothers?

Cheers,

Doug

Hi brothers,

I'm having issues with pages not being sent for some hosts/services.
It would be great if I could run a test to see what BB would do given
certain circumstances.

Something like:

#> page-test somehost someservice red

Basically I have some conn tests that are flippping red but nothing
ever gets sent for them. Other conn tests page fine. I am at a
complete loss as to why.

Any ideas?
