{bb} bb-roracle - error when enabling extent check Yes: bad number

I'm running bb-roracle on a solaris 8 client against oracle 817, the script
works great until I enable extent checking in the bb-roracle.ids file.  Then I
get the following error in BBOUT "/bb-roracle.ksh[54]: YES: bad number". 
Anyone else run into this or have some suggetions about where to start trouble
shooting.  If I disable extents checking every other check works great.
