Approximately 4600 individual tests, on 600 hosts (only about 1100 of those 4600 are bbnet related, the rest are local tests running on the clients).Running on an Intel i386, Dual Xeon 3.2Ghz, 4GB RAMSuse Linux OS.I have bbnet-threads set to 20.No purples, no load issues.cheers,Darren

Subject: RE: {bb} Big Brother Display CapacityI am doing around 3500 tests across about 1800 hosts. Solaris 10 on a Sun Netra-T ultra sparc IIi with 512 K RAM and a single processor. It does ok but is a slow machine to start with.
So typically, what do you guys have set for bbnet-threads? I seem to often get purple for the net tests and the client-side tests go purple quite often. I'm only running about 60 net tests and maybe 25 client-side tests. I just attributed it to too much load on the bb server. What tricks/hints do you all have for allowing BB to monitor so many hosts?Matt
