{bb} Maint.pl

Hi i am trying to get the maint scripts working with big brother and for 
some reason i am able to see the web page for enabling and disabling the 
hosts ( /cgi-bin.maint.pl.v2.9) but when i try to disable a host or for 
that matter click on any link on that page like show instructions i get 
the following error

*Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /cgi-bin/maint.pl on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use 
an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I am using red hat enterprise Linux  with  1.9 i version of big brother.
