I don't think that I've previously used that particular script,
but I would expect it to generate an additional column (likely
called "mrtg") to monitor network traffic (bandwidth utilisation).
It should also be possible to generate graphs, but I think that
part is optional.

I'm not sure if the same script script is responsible, but the
"demo" page includes a column which reflects what I would expect
to see:
