The first thing that I would do is check that the script is really
running on the host that you intend and that no relevant errors are
being written to the BBOUT file. If the script is not being run
from the server side of the BBDISPLAY machine, I would also check
the BBOUT file there, to see if the status logs are being rejected
for some reason.

The documentation in the script mentions that you can run the
script on the command line (with extra debugging information if
required) in order to test it. It also refers to this site:

which may provide more handy hints.
