Well, by my reckoning, that's a delay of nearly 22 hours which
cannot be good. 

It still feels like there may be a network problem connecting from
the client to the server. You should try the telnet tests to see
if that works.

Another thing that may delay the client is running the "disk" part
on NFS mounted partitions. I don't recall a case where the delay
was so large but, if you think this is a possibility, you could
temporarily disable the disk test by setting DODISK="FALSE" in
etc/bbdef-client.sh.

Alternatively, you could create a debugging version of the script
bin/bb-combo.sh, modifying each line that starts "$BB $BBDISP" to
use "echo" instead (six places). Then, if you run the script
bin/bb-local.sh on the command line (as the BB user, after setting
BBHOME) that will test the operation of the client and show you the
output.
