{bb} /var/log/messages is unreadable

Hi all,

there seems to be a change between BigBrotherClient 1.9e and 1.9i that
causes the /var/log/messages to be unreadable by the BB-user.

Both systems are running on Suse Linux 10.1 and the BB-user is the same
on both systems (it belongs to the following groups: dialout, video, users).

Both /var/log/messages-Files have the same rights and owners:

-rw-r----- 1 root   root    133230 Nov 22 13:50 messages
-rw-r----- 1 root   root    635772 Nov 22 13:52 messages

Have any of you encountered this problem and how have you dealt with it?
