It's certainly possible, but probably not advisable.

If you modify the "df" command to include the automounted directories,
they will be monitored like local ones. The side effect of this is that
those directories will probably not be unmounted, because BB will be
looking at them every five minutes (by default). It would likely be
better to mount those directories statically, rather than letting the
automounter handle them.
But, the recommended (by me at least) way to do this is to avoid testing
NFS mounted partitions where possible. Just install the BB client on
your NFS server and test those partitions locally.
