RE: {bb} Can't get BB logs with BBNT 1.08d on Windows 2003 server

enable auditing, check security logs for access denied.

realtime snapshot of problem can be obtained by using
sysinternals' (now microsoft) tools at:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/processesandthreads/processmonitor.mspx

this will tell you exactly where it is failing.

disable anitvirus scanning on that diretcory ifyou haven't already.

Best,

Cheers Paul,

But that's the same location ( C:\BB\tmp ) where BB got installed with the Administrator account (!)
I've also tried C:\TEMP, but no joy

Anything else?

Loris

Guys,

I don't seem to be able to get the BBNT1.08d client to create BB logs on a Win2k3 server.

(Standard CPU/memory/disk/etc... monitoring works perfectly, I just need the log function to troubleshoot an external script)

I've ticked the "Activate log" box, set the "Saved Logs Location" path, stopped/restarted BB client.

Can anyone see what I am missing here?

Thanks in advance

Loris
