This one is just for your convenience, it is not strictly required.
The advantage is that you can modify this link when upgrading and,
if you use it in any external references (like start-up scripts),
you will not need to remember where they are. You may also want
to use two links here, one to the client as well as the one to
the server.

Is /var/www/html actually the "Document Root"? You should be able
to confirm that from the documentation, or just drop an HTML file
in that directory and see if the web-server will display it. Has
your web-server been configured to follow symbolic links?

It would also be helpful if you could expand on the problem that
you are experiencing. Is the main BB page being updated correctly
(/home/bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/bb.html)? Is that page being displayed
by the web-server? Does the file for the summary page exist and
is it being updated (/home/bb/bb1.9i-btf/www/bb2.html)?
